Mecanoo models are currently on display at exhibitions in Milan, Italy and Brisbane, Australia.

The exhibition “Living in the city: New architecture in Brisbane & the Asia-Pacific” questions what buildings say about life Brisbane, as it establishes itself as an important city in the Asia-Pacific. Architectural projects in Brisbane are presented alongside one project from each of its nine Sister Cities in the Asia-Pacific, including images and models of Mecanoo’s National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts in Taiwan. Through the stories behind these projects, the exhibition also provides a snapshot of these cities, allowing visitors to gain insight into the similarities and differences of city living across the Asia-Pacific.

MUDEC - Museo delle Culture - in Milan hosts an exhibition by the name of “Sempering, process and pattern in architecture and design”, which explores the relationship between methods and shapes and the research of new materials. The exhibition is part of the 21st edition of the Triennale international exhibition of design, architecture and art, titled ”21st Century: Design After Design”. Sempering includes models of the Library of Birmingham and Noordstrook, a residential project by Mecanoo partner Dick van Gameren.
